Ilya Budraitskis: Apparent legal name. Leading member of
the Russian CWI in this name, based in Moscow. Leading member of
ATTAC-Russia in this name. IBT member (as Ivan). RCO leader (as Dmitri). RWO
member (as Igor). He has used used the following emails:

The editor of the Weekly Worker (paper of the Communist Party
of Great Britain) met Budraitskis in late 2002 and identified him in their
issue of 4 September 2003 as the person known by the pseudonyms above (http://www.cpgb.org.uk/worker/494/fraud.html).
He has also been identified in a posting to the Swedish CWI website (http://www.socialisterna.org/talkshop/messages/3664.html).
There is no question that Budraitskis is a leading member of
the CWI in the Confederation of Independent States (CIS). On their English web
site, the CWI mentions him by name when describing their CIS section:
http://www.worldsocialist-cwi.org/index2.html?/area/cis.html
He has attended a number of international gatherings: he was
part of a Russian delegation to the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre (in
Russian at
http://www.owl.ru/win/infolist/2002/v7_02.htm),
he was part of Russian delegation to European Social Forum conference in Paris
and Florence (http://www.cpgb.org.uk/worker/460/russia.html),
and one of the main presenters at an International Trotsky conference in
Moscow in 1999 (http://www.laborstandard.org/New_Postings/Trotsky_Conference.htm).
Budraitskis clearly knew the personalities involved in the
Ukrainian fraud. A report on the 27-28 October 2001, 2nd All-Ukrainian
conference of the CWI lists Budraitskis as one of the chairs of the sessions.
The chairs of other sessions were key players in the fraud. (In Russian at
http://www.leviy.ru/news/analitiks/iac_press/2001/8/11.htm)
In January 2002 one Boris Budraitskis (who signs his letter as
Ilya B.) requested that Boris Pastukhs email address bpastuh@hotmail.com
be given authorization to access the anarchist listserve, "mosbabylon list" (in
Russian at http://lists.mutualaid.org/pipermail/mosbabylon/2002-January/000064.html).
According to the World Socialist Web Site, he is a student at
the Moscow Pedogogy Institute. (In Russian at
